Job Shadow Program

 

The Job Shadow Program is an interactive career exploration experience in which students spend up to a full day following employers and/or employees to learn about the work they perform. This program is an excellent way for students to gain real-life perspective on career paths of interest.

 

Enhanced job shadow opportunities allow students to meet with employers and/or employees to explore the range of career opportunities embedded in the host business, organization, or agency.

  • Timing: Summer

  • Duration: Up to one day

  • Location: On- and off-island

  • Student age: Middle- and high-school students

  • Application form: Required for both students and employers

  • Consent: Parent/Guardian Consent Form required (students are responsible for obtaining)

  • Remuneration: Unpaid
